Eleanore Fortsworth, Warrior of Symphonia

"I don't know if I should love you, or get angry with you."

Though trained in weapons by her father, a retired member of the Symphonian army, Eleanore never really expected to get much use out of her skills. Born in an era of relative peace, she figured that, at most, she would become a militia captain, and would only be forced to use her skills to break up brawls started by some of the town's troublemakers. What she did not expect, however, was to be involved in a quest to protect the royal heir from an evil association of powerful villains from another reality bent on causing mayhem in her world (whew!). As unbelievable as the premise just presented may be, that was exactly the situation she found herself in.

With the unexpected guidance and aid of the planar wanderer named Malthus Tannhauser, Eleanore and her friends -the bard Clifford Swanson (male human Bard 6/Warrior Skald 2), acolyte Silphie Cloud (female human Cleric 6/Divine Agent 1), and mage Lapiz Melcreuz Freya (female human Wizard 6/Incantatrix 1) - were able to save the princess, at the same time thwarting the plans of the Shadow Shoal. Though the Shoal had suffered a temporary setback, they would soon return. Until that time comes, Eleanore prepares and trains to face them once more.

Eleanore is now under Malthus' tutelage, and respects the older and more experienced warrior. Her training under him, however, has yielded an unexpected consequence: she feels that she is falling for her teacher. Whether the paladin lord has noticed this of her, or even shares the same feelings, is unclear. What is clear though is this young warrior's drive to become worthy in her teacher's eyes.

Eleanore is of average height for a girl her age, with a long fall of lustrous steel-blue hair and ruby-hued eyes, and quite long-legged. Malthus often jokes that her athletic build mimics that of a dancer more than a warrior, but she takes it as a complement, often with a blush and a shy look on her face. She is constantly worried that she would never measure up to the woman Malthus first loved, the Lordereonean priestess Nessa Therise.
